This privacy policy explains how Blenda Art AS ("Blenda", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and services at blenda.art.

Who we are

Blenda Art AS is a Norwegian company with Danish roots. We provide a platform that helps galleries and artists share artwork previews with potential buyers. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@blenda.art.

What we collect

If you create an account (galleries and artists): We collect your name, email address, and any information you provide when setting up your gallery profile. We also collect the artwork images and dimensions you upload to the platform.

If you preview artwork (buyers and visitors): When you use a preview link to see artwork in your room, we collect basic usage data such as which artwork was viewed and the type of device used. We do not collect your camera footage — the camera feed is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Automatically collected data: We collect standard technical information such as device type, browser type, and pages visited. This helps us keep the service running and improve it.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the service
Let buyers preview artwork shared by galleries and artists
Show galleries and artists how their artworks are performing (view counts)
Send transactional emails (account confirmations, important updates)
Send marketing emails if you have given your consent
Improve and develop the platform

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

We use third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, email, and payment processing. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and process data on our behalf. Our main database is stored within the EU. A current list of sub-processors is available upon request at hello@blenda.art.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the service to function (such as keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 90 days. Artwork files uploaded by galleries and artists are deleted when the artwork is removed from the platform.
