FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

What is Blenda?+

Blenda lets buyers see your artwork on their own wall, at real size, before they buy. Upload a piece and you get a shareable link, a QR code, and a gallery page you can send to anyone.

How does it work for the buyer?+

Each artwork gets its own link. When a buyer opens it on their phone, the camera turns on and places your piece on their wall at its true physical size. They can walk around, step back, and see whether it fits.

Do my buyers need to download anything?+

No. It opens straight in their browser. That is the whole point: anything a buyer has to install is a buyer you lose.

Which phones does it work on?+

Any modern iPhone using Safari, and any modern Android phone using Chrome.

What if someone opens the link on a computer?+

They see a QR code they can scan to continue on their phone. Nothing breaks, and you do not lose the visit.

Your artwork

What do I need to upload?+

A photo of the work and its size. That is it. No modelling, no 3D files, no technical steps.

What kind of photo works best?+

A flat, straight-on photograph of the artwork itself, cropped to the edges. Avoid photos of the piece already hanging on a wall or in a frame, because those get placed on the buyer’s wall exactly as they are, frame and all.

Can I sell the same design in several sizes?+

Yes, and you only upload once. Each size is just a different link, so one upload covers your whole size range.

Can I change the size later?+

Yes. Dimensions are a setting on the artwork, not something baked into the image, so you can correct them at any time without re-uploading.

Does it work for originals as well as prints?+

Both. The only thing that matters is that you know the physical dimensions.

Sharing and selling

How do I share my artwork?+

Every artwork comes with a direct link, a QR code you can print or send, and one-click sharing to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and email.

Can buyers buy while the artwork is on their wall?+

Yes. Link your store and a buy button appears inside the preview, so they can purchase at the moment they are convinced rather than going back to find the product page.

Does it work with my webshop?+

There is a Shopify app on the Shopify App Store and a WordPress plugin for WooCommerce. On any other platform you can add the link or button yourself.

Where can I use the QR code?+

Anywhere physical: price tags, business cards, exhibition walls, printed catalogues, an art fair stand. It turns a passer-by with a phone into someone seeing the work in their own home.

Can I see what people are looking at?+

Yes. You can see which pieces collectors keep coming back to, which is usually a better sales signal than a like.

Plans and billing

Is there a free plan?+

Yes, and it stays free. Three artworks, no credit card, no time limit.

What happens when I need more?+

Paid plans are priced by how many artworks you have, from a single artist up to a gallery or a platform with thousands of pieces. See the pricing page for the current tiers.

Do the prices include VAT?+

No, all prices exclude VAT. VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

Can I cancel whenever I want?+

Yes, there is no commitment and no notice period.

Galleries, shops and platforms

I have hundreds of works. Does this scale?+

Yes. Galleries and poster shops run their full catalogue through Blenda, and larger catalogues sync automatically rather than being uploaded by hand.

Can it run on my own domain, without Blenda branding?+

Yes. White-label puts the whole experience on a domain you choose, with your logo and no mention of Blenda. It is aimed at galleries, platforms and aggregators.

I am not on Shopify or WordPress. Can I still use it?+

Yes. Blenda works on any platform, including custom-built ones, either by adding the link yourself or by connecting through the API.
