Which wall preview tool is right for your art shop?
There are two kinds of tools. Some put your artwork into a photo of a room. Others show it on the customer's own wall, live through the phone camera. Blenda is the second kind, built to look as close to the real thing as a phone allows.
The short answer
Choose Blenda if you want customers to see the artwork on their own wall, at its true size, in a frame they can switch while it hangs there, from a link that needs no app. Choose ArtPlacer if you mainly want stock room mockups or virtual exhibitions.
The closest thing to hanging it
A preview only helps if the customer believes it. Blenda is built around that: the artwork has to look like a print on a wall, not a sticker floating in front of the camera.
- True size, from the dimensions you enter in cm or inches. A 50 × 70 poster looks exactly 50 × 70 cm on their wall.
- It sits flat on the wall, in the room's own light, with a soft shadow behind it.
- Tap to fix it in place, then step back or walk up close, the way you would in a shop.
- Opens in Safari or Chrome on any iPhone or Android. Nothing to install, so customers actually try it.
Frames, even your own
Most buyers are choosing a frame as much as an artwork. In Blenda the frame is part of the view on the wall, not an extra step.
- Black, white, gold with a metallic sheen, and oak and dark oak with real wood grain.
- Customers switch frames while the artwork hangs on their wall. It stays exactly where they put it.
- The preview opens in the frame the customer picked on your product page.
Selling your own mouldings? We set up your frames in your colours and widths, so the preview matches what you actually ship.

Questions we get
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. The preview opens in Safari or Chrome on iPhone and Android. On a computer, they scan a QR code and carry on with their phone.
Is Blenda an alternative to ArtPlacer?
Yes, if what you need is customers seeing your art on their own wall, straight from your webshop. Blenda focuses on that one moment, at true size and with frames. If you want stock room mockups or virtual exhibitions, ArtPlacer covers more of that.
Can customers try different frames?
Yes. They switch between frames while the artwork hangs on their wall, and it stays exactly where they placed it. The preview opens in the frame chosen on your product page.
Can I use my own frames?
Yes. Alongside black, white, gold, oak and dark oak, we can set up your own frames in your colours and widths. Write to hello@blenda.art and tell us what you sell.
Does it work for posters sold in several sizes?
Yes. Upload each design once. In Shopify, the preview shows the size the customer has selected, and the design counts once on your plan however many sizes you sell.
