# Blenda.art

> Blenda.art is a web-based augmented-reality viewer for artworks. 

Visitors open the link on any iPhone or Android, and the artwork appears at the exact dimensions the artist uploaded. It even supports posters in different sizes as well as frames.

Blenda.art is aimed at three audiences: independent artists sharing work via Instagram, email or a personal site; galleries and webshops or art platforms with thousands of artworks and posters. They can make use of the Blenda API so everything is automatically synchronized.

Blenda needs no app and no install for the visitor. Blenda.art raises conversion rate on webshops and reduces returns.

## Technical notes

- Accepted upload formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP. Real-world dimensions entered in cm or inches are baked into Blenda's model, so scale is always accurate.
- Sharing is a plain URL - suitable for email, SMS, Instagram posts and stories, Facebook, QR codes on price tags or exhibition walls, and embedded "See on wall" buttons in a webshop.
